Check Your Child's Dance Bag!
It is extremely important for parents to check your child's dance bag after each class. Important announcements and newsletters are often shoved inside dance bags and not found until several weeks after parents have missed an important event, etc.
Names Inside Dance Shoes: Please mark dancer's first and last name inside each dance shoe (both to a pair). Do not mark names on the bottoms of shoes as this can be seen when performing on stage. Check your child's bag after each class to make sure your child has all of their dance shoes and other belongings.
THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE: The race is on to fill up as many grocery bags with canned food and other items that will be given to less fortunate families so they might have a good Thanksgiving! Last year, we donated over 400 LBS of food to the Free Store Food Bank! That’s try to out-do ourselves this year! The dance class that fills up the most bags wins a pizza party! The race begins on October 29 and ends November 16! Some items to donate include:
Canned Vegetables & Fruit Bisquick
Boxed Mashed Potatoes Cornmeal
Canned Gravy Beans
Canned Meats Rice
Canned or Dry Milk Peanut Butter
Canned Yams Drink Mixes (iced tea, lemonade)
Marshmallows Paper Towels/Napkins
Pudding Mixes/Jello Plastic Cutlery
