Kaleidoscope Dance Company raised it's curtain on September 12, 2005. Owner Lindsey Smith is launching KDC to a new level through her desire to be the most innovative and up-to-date dance company in the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati area. Her staff, all trained professionals, share her goals and ambition and the studio is proving to be a huge force in the area's dance scene.
With over 100 students in it's first year of business, Kaleidoscope Dance Company had performances at Merchants and Music (Ft. Thomas, KY) and Procter & Gamble Fine Arts Fund (Cincinnati, OH). The entire studio participated in performing in our first annual spring recital, "Believe," which had an attendance of over 500 people! The show received incredible reviews from the audience! The competition teams were immediately successful and received 7 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies at their first regional competition.
Kaleidoscope Dance Company's enrollment continues to grow as more and more parents and dancers learn of the excellent dance program offered. The Competition Dance Teams continue to be successful with "High Score" Awards at regional and national level competitions, and the studio continues to perform at such places as the Cincinnati Museum Center/ Union Terminal (Cincinnati, OH) , Dance For The Heart (American Heart Association, Florence, KY), in parades, and more!
While Kaleidoscope Dance Company provides a well-rounded and technical comprehensive study of dance to all of their students, the staff's main goal is to create a positive and fun environment for students, promoting self-confidence, discipline, and community through dance. Using creative and uniquely strategic teaching methods, Kaleidoscope Dance Company creates an excellent educational program and at the same time keeps students engaged and entertained. The staff at Kaleidoscope Dance Company hopes to inspire dancers of all ages to "Come See the Many Colors of Dance!"
